Yesterday was 29th birthday, the final year of my twenties :-(. I spent the day with my beautiful kiddies then topped it off by enjoying a lovely dinner with the family. And of course a birthday cake or a Lamington finger or two, as i choose this for my Birthday cake this year. Im not real big on chocolate cakes.
What you’ll need Sponge cake
3 eggs free range
1/2 cup cornflour (tapioca flour if Paleo)
3/4 cup almond meal
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
2/3 cup macadamia oil
4 tbls rice malt syrup
Its great to give your digestive system a break from time to time. You don’t always have to do a 3 or 5 day juice cleanse a simple 1 day cleanse is a great way. Or even just incorporating a juice/smoothie a day you will begin to see benefits not only in your skin, hair and nails but you sleep and inner health.
I decided to do a 1 day cleanse just to give my body a break and to be honest i don’t have the time or commitment at the moment to do a 3 day cleanse though i would like to. (Maybe later on down the track)
Being on the Low Fodmap diet i am limited in fruits and veggies that i can have so i made sure i picked safe food combinations. Recipe’s down the bottom 🙂
