I am not a big fan of Avocado’s but we had half of one in the fridge, it was starting to turn brown and i didnt want to waste it, so i came up with this face mask last night while cleaning out my fridge.
Half an Avocado
The juice of half a Cucumber
1/3 cup of Greek yoghurt
- Mix ingredients together with a whisk or a blender.
- Before beginning, cleanse your skin.
- Apply mixture to your face and neck, always test a small patch of skin before using anything new. Using a brush to apply the mixture is easier and less messy, I didn’t have one on hand so I just used a fresh pastry brush he he it worked fine otherwise hands are just as good.
- Leave on for 15 minutes
- Wash off with warm water and moisturise as normal
is great for dry, red, itchy, rough skin in cold, winter and humid environment. Avocados are rich source of essential nutrients that soothe and moisturize your facial skin. They contain vitamins B and E and amino acids
Not only do they calm sever acne and hydrate your skin they can also reduce swelling eyes and improve dark circles.
Yoghurt (natural not the flavoured ones)
is a natural and gentle cleanser, it contains lactic acid, which soothes and softens the skin while tightening wrinkles and refining pores.
